NPC reschedules Enumerators and Supervisors Training Date earlier scheduled to commence on 11th April

The National Population Commission has rescheduled the Enumerators and Supervisors Training earlier scheduled to commence on 11th April, 2023.

The Director of Census, Olanipekun Evelyn Arinola, broke the News in an Internal Memo on Saturday.

According to Mrs Arinola, the Enumerators and Supervisors Training will now begin on 13th April, 2023.

The New Table of Census Activities released by the Director of Census in the Memo indicated the following:

LGA Level Training on Building Numbering and Household Listing will now begin on 13th April, 2023 and ends on 19th April, 2023. This is the First Phase of Enumerators and Supervisors Adhoc Staff Training.

LGA Level Training on Persons Enumeration will begin on 26th April and ends on 30th April, 2023. This is the Second Phase of the Enumerators and Supervisors Adhoc Staff Training.

Census Night is on 2nd May, 2023 while the Main Cenus (Person's Enumeration) is on 3rd May to 7th May, 2023.

"You may wish to recall that the 2023 Population and Housing Census Training that started with National Level Training, cascaded to the Zones and the States Level, has prepared so far, the trainers otherwise called Facilitators.

"The Stage is now set to commence the Training of primary functionaries, the Enumerators and Supervisors at the Local Government Level.

"The Training at the Local Government Level is scheduled to start on 13th April, 2023 in each of the identified training Centers/ Class Rooms in the 774 in the Country, Mrs Arinola announced.
