NPC Birth Registration Recruitment 2023: NPC closes Application, readies to shortlist and train Adhoc Staff

The National Population Commission has closed the application for Birth Registration Recruitment 2023 as it prepares to shortlist and train shortlisted Ad hoc Staff.

The NPC Birth Registration Recruitment Application which began in the second week of June 2023, as a partnership between the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF), the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) and the National Population Commission (NPC), seeks to register a minimum of 12 million eligible children under the age 5 years in the country.

The objectives of the NPC Birth Registration also includes issuance of birth certificates that provides names and nationality of every child in the selected States in the Country.

Due to the targeted number of Children to be registered, the NPC intends to recruit thousands of Adhoc Satff which includes NYSC Members, and eligible individuals with requisite qualification who would work together to actualize the NPC/UNICEF/NYSC Partnership.

According to a message from the NPC, as contained in the Birth Registration Recruitment 2023 Website https://birthregistrationadhoce-recruitment.com, the NPC has warned applicants that the Birth Registration Recruitment 2023 is Free of charge, but based on merit.

"Note that application is free and approvals are based on merit and any citizen posing as an agent collecting money from the applicants to fast track or induce approvals will be found and duly prosecuted to the full extent of the law", the NPC stated.

While New Application has been completely closed by the NPC, Applicants who are yet to complete the NPC Birth Registration Recruitment Application should urgently log on to the portal https://birthregistrationadhoce-recruitment.com, to "Resume Application" with either Applictaion ID or verified NIN.

A document from the NPC has indicated that Training of the Birth Registration Adhoc Staff will commence in July, all through August 2023, according to State by State Schedule.

But before the training commences, NPC would review application and shortlist qualified Adhoc Staff to participate in the NPC Birth Registration Adhoc Staff Training.
