NASIMS Pre-selects over 200,000 New Batch C2 Npower Beneficiaries

The National Social Investment Management System (NASIMS) has on Wednesday pre-selected over 200,000 New Npower Batch C2 beneficiaries, as it proceeds to update the Npower Batch C2 database in order to commence unified payment of the beneficiaries.

NASIMS has sent messages to the newly pre-selected beneficiaries, instructing them to confirm their Status and validate their information using the Npower validation portal link validation.nasims.ng.

A source within the Humanitarian Affairs Ministry, who preferred anonymity, confirmed that the newly pre-selected beneficiaries were to augment the number of required beneficiaries in the Batch C2 Npower Programme. 

The source clarified that the newly pre-selected beneficiaries were selected from Npower Batch C Applicants who applied through the NASIMS Portal https://nasims.gov.ng in 2020, adding that it is not a scam as many claimed.

Are you an Applicant of the Batch C Npower Programme in 2020? Did you get any of the text messages below:

"Dear Applicant, You have been preselected for the N-power Batch C2 program. To confirm your status visit validation.nasims.ng and validate your records."

"Dear Applicant, You have been preselected for the N-power Batch C2 program. To confirm your status visit http://kir.am/6/02KD5tPotHCl and validate your records."

"Dear Applicant, You have been preselected for the N-power Batch C2 program. To confirm your status visit http://kir.am/6/v98T5tPotHCl and validate your records."

Congratulations! You have been selected to participate in the Batch C2 Npower Programme. Do not ask further questions or have any doubt, both text messages are 100% genuine.

The two links: validation.nasims.ng, http://kir.am/6/02KD5tPotHCl are the same, and points to the same Npower Validation Link validation.nasims.ng/validation ealier released by NASIMS to enable unpaid Npower beneficiaries update their Bank Accounts.

The links http://kir.am/6/v98T5tPotHCl, http://kir.am/6/02KD5tPotHCl or any of such is embedded in the main link validation.nasims.ng as a shortened url. Hence, when you open any of the two or their likes, it should redirect to validation.nasims.ng.

Proceed to Confirm your Status and update your Npower Record as follows:

1.  Open the Link sent to you. Either of the links: validation.nasims.ng, http://kir.am/6/02KD5tPotHCl, http://kir.am/6/v98T5tPotHCl or their likes. Ensure that it redirects to validation.nasims.ng in the case of the last two links.
When the page opens, click on "Accept".

2. Fill in your Npower ID and click "Next". If you have forgotten your Npower ID, log into your NASIMS Dashboard via https://nasims.gov.ng. If you have forgotten your password, click on "Forgot Password", enter the Email Address you used during the Npower Application and recover your password. When your NASIMS Dashboard opens, copy and paste your Npower ID written as NPWR/2020/xxxxxx.

3. Enter your Bank Verification Number (BVN) and click "Next".

4. Enter you National Identification Number (NIN) and click "Next"

5. Enter your Bank Account submited during your Npower Registration by: selecting your Bank Name, input your Bank Account Number, look below your inputted Account Number and see your Bank Account Name automatically pop up in "green colour". Then click "Next".

6. Acknowledge your inputted data and click "Submit".

Note that ones you have submitted your updated details, you can't change anything again or resubmit the form. Ensure not to make any mistake when inputting your Npower ID, BVN, NIN or Bank Account Details.
