NSCDC Recruitment 2022 Application Guidelines

Before you begin NSCDC Recruitment 2022 Application, please take note of the following:

1. The NSCDC Recruitment 2022 Application is open for just 2 weeks from Monday 12th December, 2022. This means that NSCDC Recruitment 2022 closing Date is Monday 26th December, 2022. 

2. You must not be more than 30yrs. If you're already 30 or above, you have a slim chance. The younger you are, the brighter your chance. Required age is between 18 and 30years only.

3. Do not apply with your HND, Bachelor's or Master's Degree. It will automatically disqualify you. The call for NSCDC Recruitment 2022 Application for this course is only for Trade Test, SSCE, ND and NCE holders.

4. The link https://cdcfib.career is the official NSCDC Recruitment 2022 Application link. Beware of internet fraudster.

5. Do not give any Civil Defence Officer money to help you push for employment. They are as helpless as you are. When you join the Corps, you'd understand better.

6. Ensure that all your documents are tidied before you begin the NSCDC Recruitment 2022 Application. Inconsistencies in application could lead to automatic disqualification.

7. Check your height, weight and chest span. Don't shortchange yourself with assumptions.

8. Ensure you have and use a functional email address. Some persons where shortlisted last time but couldn't access their email addresses and lost the opportunity.

9. All NCE holders are to apply as Inspector of Corps (IC) while ND holders should apply for Assistant Inspector of Corps (AIC). School Leaving Certificate and Trade Test holders are also encouraged to apply as Corps Assistants (CA II).

10. Deactivate Do Not Disturb (DND) on your Phone by sending "Allow" to 2442 with any Network (MTN, Airtel, GLo, etc). This will enable you recieve SMS that will be sent to you.

11. An APPLICATION CODE will be generated after filling the form below. PLEASE ENSURE YOU MEMORIZE OR COPY THE NUMBER. IT WILL BE REQUIRED FOR SUBSEQUENT LOGIN AND FUTURE REFERENCES.

12. Ensure you have all the information about your WAEC, GCE, or/and NECO. You will be required to provide the subjects and grades subsequently.

13. You will be asked to upload an electronic passport photograph not more than 80KB in size. Resize your Passport Photograph before starting Application. NSCDC Recruitment 2022 Available Job Positions

The available positions in the NSCDC Recruitment 2022 are as follows:

General Duty: Category A 

Inspectorate Cadre

1.) Inspector of Corps (IC) – CONPASS 07

Applicants must be holders of NCE or its equivalent in any related field, obtained from any recognized institution.

2.) Assistant Inspector of Corps (AIC) – CONPASS 06

Applicants must be holders of National Diploma (ND) in any related field, obtained from any recognized Polytechnic/Institution.

Assistant Cadre: Category B

1.) Corps Assistant (CAII) 04

Applicants must be holders of GCE Ordinary level, SSCE / NECO or other equivalents with a maximum of five (5) credits in not more than two sittings, which should include English and Mathematics.

2. Corps Assistant (CA III) – CONPASS 03

Applicants must be holders of GCE Ordinary level, SSCE / NECO or their equivalents with a minimum of five (5) credits in not more than two sittings which should include at least English and Mathematics or Trade Test Grade III (Artisans, Motor Driver Mechanics, Auto Electricals, Plumbers, Carpenters etc.)

Driver / Mechanic / Artisan: Category C 

1.) Corps Assistant (CA II) – CONPASS 04

Applicants must be holders of Trade Test Grade II (Motor Driver Mechanics, Auto Electricians etc).

2.) Corps Assistant (CA III) 03

Applicants must be holders of Trade Test Grade III (Motor Driver Mechanics, Auto Electricians etc).

N.B: National Driver’s License is required for all prospective drivers.

NSCDC Recruitment 2022 Statutory Requirements

  • Applicants must be Nigerians by birth.
  • Applicants must possess the requisite qualifications.
  • Any certificate or qualification not presented and accepted at the recruitment center shall not be accepted after the recruitment.
  • Applicants must be fit and present Certificate of Medical Fitness from any recognized Government Hospital.
  • Applicants must be of good character and must not have been convicted of any criminal offence.
  • Applicants must not be member of secret society, cult or drug addict etc. 
  • Applicants must not have been involved in any financial embarrassment. 
  • Applicants must be between the ages 18 and 30 years.
  • Applicants’ height must not be less than 1.65m for male and 1.60m for females.
  • Applicant’s chest measurement must not be less than 0.87 for men.
  • Computer literacy will be an added advantage.


How to Apply for NSCDC Recruitment 2022

1. Open the NSCDC Recruitment 2022 link https://cdcfib.career and allow it to load. 

i. Note that the best time to apply for the NSCDC Recruitment 2022 is at night from 1.am. The website has been crashing because of too many traffic it's receiving from numerous Applicants. 

ii. For better experience, use good browsers such as Google Chrome

iii. Again, switch your Mobile Phone to Desktop Mode on your Browser, or better use Laptop or Desktop Computer.

2. Create Account

i. When the NSCDC Recruitment 2022 Portal opens, click on "Apply Now"

ii. When creating Account, fill in the Account Form with the following Information: First name, Middle Name, Last Name, Position you are applying for, Email Address, Phone Number, Password.

iii. When creating your Password, note that your Password must be a combination of the following:
- At least 1 UPPER CASE/CAPITAL LETTER (e.g A)

- At least 1 lower case/small letter (e.g a)

- At least 1 number (e.g 4)

- At least 1 special character (e.g #, $, &, €, ¥)

- At least 6 characters long

Example of a good Password is John1234€. You would notice that Upper Case, Lowercase, Number, Special Character were used in the Password example, and the Password is more than 6 Characters.

iv. Retype the Password and Click "Continue".

Note that once the Account Creation is successful, you can log in anytime by going to the Home page and Clicking on "Login if already Registered".  It's beside the "Apply" Button.

3. Proceed to fill the NSCDC Recruitment 2022 Application Form

 i. The first step to filling your Bio Data with required data such as WhatsApp Number, Adress, City etc.

ii. Uploading of Passport Photograph. This is the most critical part of the NSCDC Recruitment 2022 Application. Note that maximum file size is 80kb. If you haven't resized your Passport Photograph, refer to No 13 of the NSCDC Recruitment 2022 Application Guidelines.

iii. Fill other Biodata part of the NSCDC Recruitment 2022 Form such as State of Origin, Local Government of Origin, Height, Chest size, Gender, Date of Birth, Marital Status, Religion, National Identification Number. Click "Save and Continue"

4. Proceed to fill the Educational/Qualification Section of the NSCDC Recruitment 2022 Application Form. 

Fill in Result Grades and other required parts.

5. Review and Submit.

  1. I tried filling the form, and when I click continue it keeps loading the same page and not next page and I reapply and same thing again
