How to know if your Bank Details have been Validated

The Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development has in statement disclosed why some beneficiaries of the Batch C Npower Programme are yet to receive their monthly Stipends.

In an update through the Npower Verified Social handle on Thursady, the Npower Management Team clarified that some beneficiaries did not "validate" the Bank Account details they provided in their NASIMS profile, "which has made it impossible to credit their Bank Accounts".

Recall that the Npower Management Team on Monday commenced the payment of October Stipends to the eligible Batch C Npower beneficiaries, but have encountered technical glitches which the technical team has intensified efforts to resolve in order to ensure all the Beneficiaries are paid without further delay.

The Ministry has called on the Batch C Npower beneficiaries whose Bank Details are yet to be validated to ensure they do so using a laid down proceedure to enable them recieve their October Stipend.

How to know if your Bank Details have been Validated

Before downloading Post Letters, Beneficiaries were requested to Validate their Bank Account Information.

If you entered your Bank Account details correctly before downloading your Posting Letter, just be calming down.

'Invalid' or 'No BVN data' displayed on the BVN section of the NASIMS Profile does not show BVN was not validated. It will also not stop your payment.

Why the Bank Detail Validation is Necessary

The Validation of Bank Details is necessary to ensure that the Account Number where the Stipend is being paid, belongs to the Npower beneficiary whose Name and BVN are stated in the Beneficiary's Profile.

In the real essence, a beneficiary's Name on the NASIMS Profile Must be the same Name and the same Format as written on the BVN and Bank Information.

This shows vividly that the NASIMS Profile and Account Details belong to a bonafide Npower Beneficiary.

How to Validate Bank Account Details 

The Npower Management stated that it will be in contact with Npower beneficiaries who are yet to Validate their Bank Account Details.

It advised all affected Batch C Stream 1 Npower beneficiaries to ensure that their Bank Account Information is close to them at all times. 

This will enable them provide the Bank Details when contacted through the Numbers: 092203102, and 018888148.

The Management alternatively stated that Npower beneficiaries who have not Validated their Bank Details can also call the Numbers above and obtain quick response from the Team.
