N-power Batch C: When successful Beneficiaries will resume work

The concept of the N-power Programme remains a work and earn programme and the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development has equipped Independent Monitors to monitor beneficiaries' activities in the States and Local Government areas when the beneficiaries are deployed.

The question many have asked is when the successful 2020/2021 N-power beneficiaries will resume work even as a large number of beneficiaries are yet to be deployed.

To answer the question, every deployed N-power Beneficiary whose Letter of engagement has been duly signed by the head of his/her PPA has been accepted and automatically resumed work.

Again, every N-power Beneficiary who has not visited his/her PPA for Acceptance or Rejection by the head of the PPA is not eligible to resume work.

When an N-power Beneficiary is rejected, which occurs in few cases, the beneficiary should Use the Chat section of NASIMS Portal to report or e-mail info@nasims.gov.ng for change of Place of Primary Assignment.

Alternatively, the Beneficiary can visit his/her State N-SIP Office for Complaint which is one of the reasons why beneficiaries should know their State N-SIP offices and their State Focal Persons.

Due to the fact that Physical verification will take place as clarified by the Nasarawa State Focal Person, Imran Usman Jibrin, official resumption of work would be after the Physical Verification has taken place.

The official resumption of work for beneficiaries yet to be accepted by the heads of their PPA will be delayed by the current challenges experienced on the NASIMS Portal which will be completely rectified in no distant time.

However, some Heads of PPA may insist on immediate resumption after signing the Deploymemt letter or face a threat of being reported by the Head of PPA, which the beneficiary should handle diplomatically.

The Ministry has encouraged applicants yet to be deployed to exercise patience and keep checking their NASIMS profile as Deployement is ongoing.

It is only when the Deployment has been concluded that one can vividly say one did not make the list of the 510,000 successful beneficiaries out of the 550,000 pre-selected applicants who participated in the Biometric Enrolment.
