Against viral publications and wide expectations on the commencement of the shortlisting of Candidates for the N-power Batch C Stream 2 today (15th June, 2021), the National Social Investment Management System (NASIMS) had clarified that no date has been fixed for the commencement.
However, anxiety has consumed thousands of the applicants who were not selected in the Stream 1 but have remain expectant in the Stream 2 as everyone keep asking, "When will Stream 2 Shortlisting commence?"
Sources who pleaded anonymity have disclosed that currently, Candidates who were shortlisted for the Stream 1 are still on the Boiometric enrolment and no date has been announced as the deadline for the Stream 1 Biometric enrolment.
One of the Sources who is a State Focal Person for NSIP further disclosed that even as at this moment, the lists of Batch C Stream 1 have not been sent to the States, lamenting that the Humanitarian Affairs Ministry has kept the Focal Persons in shadows unlike before.
"We have not seen the list of Batch C Stream 1 in the States. I have been calling other focal persons and they said no list has been sent to them.
"We only get to know one is shortlisted when he/she calls to verify the congratulatory letter sent to him/her from NASIMS.
"In fact, many Focal Persons are complaining about how the Ministry has kept them in shadows. We have complained and they said they will improve," the source said.
The source noted that in as much as the processes for the onboarding and deployment of Stream 1 is still ongoing, Shortlisting of the Stream 2 will be infeasible as it will complicate the processes.
One of the Sources however advised that the applicants awaiting Stream 2 Shortlisting should remain patient and keep rechecking their profiles as NASIMS had instructed.
