MSME Survival Funds: Payroll Supports Registration officially ends today

The Payroll Supports registration portal https://www.survivalfund.gov.ng  reopened to enable States with status marked as "Open" exhaust their quotas, officially closes today 2nd February, 2021.

Reopening the registration portal on 27th January, 2021, the Steering Committee of the MSME Survival Fund and the Guarantee Offtake Scheme led by Ambassador Mariam Katagum in a statement noted that the new registration would last for 7 days beginning from 27th January, 2021 to 2nd February, 2021.

The Payroll Supports Track of the N75Billion MSME Survival Funds was flagged off on 21st September, 2020 and had witnessed two reopening of the application portal; one for applicants who were unable to complete their registration before the initial closing date in some States and two, for States that did not exhaust their quota of about 13,000 Beneficiaries per State (except for few States which would have more than 13,000 beneficiaries).

The Federal Government has shown commitment in supporting 500,000 MSME employees with a sum of N30,000 - N50,000 salary Supports for 3 months under the Payroll Supports Scheme. 

According to a recent report from the Project Delivery Office of the MSME Survival Funds Scheme, the Payroll Supports Track has recorded 296,032 beneficiaries across the 36 States plus FCT, of which 242,746 beneficiaries constituting 80% of the total beneficiaries are Youths.

While the 3 months payment had continued for the existing beneficiaries, the new application would ensure the selection of qualified MSMEs to complete the 500,000 proposed beneficiaries across the Federation.
