MSME Survival Fund: Enugu intensifies Artisan registration, disbursement continues in 11 States |Apply now

The Enugu State Government in a bid to ensure seamless data capture of Artisans (Auto Mechanics, Vulcanizers, Restaurants/Catering Services, Electrician and Electronic Repairs, Barbers/Hair dressers, Tailors, Painters, Carpenters, Esusu (Ajo) Collector, Butchers etc) in the State who would benefit from the Federal Government N75b MSME Survival Fund, a part of the National Economic Sustainability Plan to cushion the effect of COVID-19 Pandemic on MSMEs, has called on Artisans with records of COVID-19 impact on their businesses to tender their application as it continues in the State. 

The Senior Special Assistant to Vice President Yemi Osibanjo on Media and Publicity, Laolu Akande, had in a tweet on 27th October disclosed that disbursement of the one-time grant of N30,000 to Artisans has commenced in 11 States selected in the pilot phase.

Akande listed the states to include Lagos, Ondo, Kaduna, Borno, Kano, Bauchi, Anambra, Abia,  Rivers, Plateau and Delta States as well as the FCT.

He furthered that the registration for the second batch of states had already begun noting that there would also be a third batch to ensure all the 36 states and FCT were covered and verified beneficiaries be paid the one-time grant.

The Artisan/Transport Supports would cover a large pool of 333,000 beneficiaries across the Federation who would benefit from the one-time grant.

The Federal Government has however stated that an eligible applicant must be a member of the Artisan Association or Group and such must be a duly registered Union.

The Registration processes in Enugu which have been undertaken by the Enugu Small and Medium Enterprise Agency (SME Center, Enugu) have also featured the Formalisation Supports (Free CAC Registration) for more than 6,000 unregistered MSMEs in the State.

(b) Proceed to fill in your Nature of Work, Association Registration Number, Phone             Number, Email Address, Workshop/Address.

(c) Answer for disability check, enter LGA, Town.

(d) Fill in your Account Details (Bank Name, BVN and Account Number)

(e) Submit
