MSME Survival Funds: Registration for General Grant of N50,000 and free CAC Registration commences on...

 

In furtherance to the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Survival  Funds Program, a commendable initiative of the President Mohammadu Buhari led administration to cushion the effect of the Lockdown caused by the COVID-19 Pandemic on Nigerian MSMEs, many Nigerians have heightened their anticipation to emerge as beneficiaries of the program.

The Scheme which targets 1.7 Million Nigerian Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise businesses and would estimatedly save 1.3 Million jobs started on the 21st September, 2020 with the Payroll Support, having many Nigerian MSME CEOs who met the requirements register their employees that would be among the 500,000 Nigerians who would benefit from the N30,000 to N50,000 Payroll Supports from the Federal Government.

In order to ensure seamless registration process, the Project Delivery Office (PDO) designed a registration schedule which states that the General Grants which includes the N50,000 Credit Support to 100,000 Micro, Small and Medium Entreprises, N30,000-N50,000 Credit Surports to 330,000 Artisans and Transport Businesses affected by the COVID-19 Pandemic and free CAC Registration for 250,000 Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises that have not registered with the Corporate Affairs Commision, would commence at 12.am Monday 28th September, 2020.

The stated categories have been 'locked and unavailable' on the registration portal "https://www.survivalfundapplication.com" until the mentioned date and Time suitable to begin accepting registration by the Project Delivery Office.

The Registration for the Guaranteed Offtake Scheme which would facilitate bulk purchase of Products from 100,000 MSMEs in the Production Sector would quickly follow the Credit and Formalisation Supports while the trio registration would continue until Thursday 15th October, 2020.

The key Requirements for the Credit and Priority supports include CAC  Registration of Businesses, SMEDAN Certification and BVN while Business owners must be Nigerians with their Businesses located in Nigeria.
