The Minister for Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Umar Farouk, is currently on an interactive meeting with National Social Investment Program Focal Persons, Program Managers and SOCU Officers.
The Chairman of Focal Persons, NSIP, Alhaji Bana Usman in his remarks appreciated the efforts of the Ministry under the leadership of Hon Sadiya Umar Farouk as he emphasized the impact of NSIP which is currently in place in all parts of the country.
Mallam Abdulkadir Nasir Mamman while speaking on the SIP activities in Katsina State, noted that the State has recorded commendable impacts of the Social Investment Program in all the N-SIP Components.
Commending the efforts of the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development while enumerating the impacts of the National Social Investment Program in the State, Mallam Abdulkadir stated that the Program in the State is well structured and all stated achievements in the State can be verified by any mind of interest, while pointing out that 250 N-Power beneficiaries in the State have secured jobs or have become self reliant.
The Abia State NSIP Focal Person in his presentation stated that it's the responsibility of all Govts to "hold the hands" of vulnerable persons under their watch, while commending President Mohammadu Buhari for providing equal opportunities through the National Social Investment Program and its direct impacts on vulnerable Nigerians.
Meanwhile, the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development has commenced processes of absorbing the N-power beneficiaries in Ministries, Departments and Agapencies, Private Sector or Entrepreneurial Schemes by offering the beneficiaries loans upon declaration of interests.
