94.2% Nigerians confirm that N-power Beneficiaries deserve Permanent Employment -Daily Times Nigeria

An online survey conducted by Daily Times Nigeria has revealed that 94.2% Nigerians voted for N-power beneficiaries to be given permanent employment by the Federal Government.
Recall that the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development in June announced the disengagement of the 500,000 Batch A and B beneficiaries of the N-power Program who have spent at least 2 years in civil service as School Teachers, Public Health Assistants and Agric Extension Workers in their local Communities across the 774 LGAs of the Federation.

The N-power Beneficiaries who were deadlocked by the shady exit strategy announced by the Ministry had taken to the streets of Abuja, Oyo and other States to protest what they described as punitive action of the Ministry amidst COVID-19 Pandemic, without a vivid pre-planned exit strategy, while demanding a permanent employment or a grant sum of N600,000 each to pursue entrepreneurial endeavours.

Daily Times Nigeria who felt the plight of the N-power Beneficiaries and conducted an online survey on wether the beneficiaries deserved permanent employment were shocked at the number of Nigerians that declared support for the Batch A and B N-power Beneficiaries, requesting that the Federal Government absorbed them in the Civil Service System other than throwing them back to the over saturated job markets.

Recounting the impacts of the volunteers in their local Communities, many Nigerians while commending the perseverance of the N-power beneficiaries noted that majority of them actually filled the gaps of low man power in their various sectors and deserve Permanent employment from the Federal Government.
