FG Continues Disbursements of Conditional Cash Transfer Grant amids Fund Mismanagement Saga | Register Now To Benefit

The Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation has continued the disbursement of funds to the beneficiaries of the Renewed Hope Condional Cash Transfer Programme amidst Fund mismanagement saga.

The Conditional Cash Transfer grant disbursement which continued today is in line with President Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda to lift over 133 Million Nigerians out of Poverty before 2030.

Even as fund mismanagement hangs on the neck of the suspended Minister, Dr Betta Edu, the Permanent Secretary, Abel Olumuyiwa Enitan has kept the Ministry running as directed by President Tinubu.

The Ministry will continue to deliver its mandate to Nigerians which includes disbursement of the Conditional Cash Transfer Grant, Payment of Npower beneficiaries 9 months outstanding Stipends, among others.

The Conditional Cash Transfer Grant Programme is a Nationwide programme initiated by the former President Buhari as a way of mitigating hardship among vulnerable households through the disbursement of N5,000 to the beneficiaries, for a period of six (6) months.

The CCT was considered a helpful Programme in the alleviation of poverty in the country, hence was adopted by the current Administration's Renewed Hope Agenda and was renamed Renewed Hope Conditional Cash Transfer Programme (RHCCT).

Following the renaming of the CCT Grant Programme, a lot of changes have been made to ensure that the target of programme is achieved. Among these changes are:

1. Each Beneficiary of the Renewed Hope Conditional Cash Transfer Programme will recieve N25,000 monthly.

2. The duration for the Renewed Hope Conditional Cash Transfer Programme is 3 Months. 

3. Each Beneficiary of the Renewed Hope Conditional Cash Transfer Programme will recieve a total of N75,000 in 3 Months.

4. The Renewed Hope Conditional Cash Transfer Programme is targeted at 15 Million vulnerable Households which represents about 60 Million Nigerians.

5. Beneficiaries are mined from the verified Social Register which is being updated from time to time.

How to Register for the Renewed Hope Condional Cash Transfer Grant Programme

As earlier stated, the beneficiaries of the Renewed Hope Conditional Cash Transfer Programme are mined from the National Social Register cordinated by the National Cash Transfer Office (NCTO).

The register is being updated to accommodate more beneficiaries across the States of the federation.
