The National Population Commission (NPC) has warned NPC Adhoc Staff Applicants, especially the Enumerators and Supervisors, to disregard any List of Enumerators and Supervisors in circulation over the Internet.
NPC Comptroller in Kafur LGA of Katsina State, Naz-Umar Yari who issued the warning on Thursday stated that "the National Population Commission has not officially released authentic and Final List for the 2023 Population and Housing Census Functionaries".
"Therefore, any purported and concocted List circulating on the Social Media Platforms is Fake and public are advised to kindly disregard it", Yari added

Meanwhile, in preparation for the Training of Enumerators and Supervisors, as part of the Adhoc Staff to be engaged in the conduct of the 2023 Poupulation and Housing Census Exercise, the finalisation of the Enumerators and Supervisors List is in progress.
The Chairman, National Population Commission, Hon. Nasir Isa Kwarra visited the 2023 Census Functionaries List Finalisation Team in Abuja on Friday.
The team was tasked with harmonizing the field functionaries list before the commencement of the LGA-level training, developing the payment schedule and designing the modalities to update the final trainees list during the training to fast track payment.
The NPC has noted that it is irrevocably committed to conduct the best census in the history of Nigeria that will meet international standards and global acceptability.
