Npower Batch C1 Done and Dusted, Humanitarian Affairs Ministry insists

The Management of the Federal Government Npower Programme has restated that the Batch C1 Npower Programme has been concluded after completing the 1year duration of the programme.

The Npower Management made this known while addressing the beneficiaries over a misconception of its benevolence, as it recently paid  a 13th month Stipend to the beneficiaries.

According to the design of the Batch C Npower Programme, each Stream would spend 12 Months in the Programme. The Batch C1 Beneficiaries who were engaged in September 2021 completed the 1 year duration at the end of August, 2022.

However, the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development while commencing the Payment of N30,000 Stipend to the 490,000 Batch C2 Npower beneficiaries, in February, 2023, paid September Stipend to the 510,000 Batch C1 Npower beneficiaries.

Reacting to the unexpected credit alert, the Batch C1 Npower beneficiaries had wondered if it was an "extention" of the duration of the Batch C1 Npower Programme.

The ministry has, however, in a Statement on Friday explained that the Minister, Sadiya Umah Farouk, out of her magnanimity approved 1 Month Stipend to the Batch C1 Npower Beneficiaries, noting that the Batch C1 Beneficiaries have long completed their 1 year Programme.

The Ministry further described all Social Media Posts claiming that the Batch C1 Npower Programe has been extended as Fake.
