Npower Batch C1 News: Ministry Explains Work Nation, encourages beneficiaries to take Test

The Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, in a bid to transit the outgoing Batch C Stream 1 Npower beneficiaries into golden opportunities, has reintroduced the Work Nation Test.

Recall that the Ministry earlier introduced the Work Nation Test to the Batch C1 Npower beneficiaries on 24th October 2022, describing it as a condition for Npower Batch C1 August Stipend Payment.

The Ministry however had a change of plan on 28th October 2022, removed the Work Nation Test, and paid the August and last Stipend to the Batch C1 Npower beneficiaries.

Reintroducing the Work Nation Test, Wednesday, the Ministry in an Official Statement noted that the Work Nation Test is not Mandatory but Necessary.

According to the National Social Investment Management System (NASIMS), in a Statement titled "WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE INTRODUCTION OF WORKNATION", WORK NATION is Africas' talent/skill acquisition platform where talents/skills are developed and are connected to opportunities across the globe.

NASIMS stated that the necessity of the Work Nation Test is to ensure the alarming rate of unemployment in the country is curtailed.

"To ensure the alarming rate of unemployment in the country is curtailed, Federal Government has taken further step ahead to introduce WORK NATlON program where the out gone Npower C1 Beneficiaries will be trained/retrained and connected to opportunities across the globe," NASIMS stated.

The Npower Management encouraged the outgoing Batch C1 Npower beneficiaries, whom Work Nation Test notification displays on their Dashboards, to embrace the life-changing opportunity and wait patiently for the selection stage.

According to information contained in the Work Nation Official Website https://worknation.ng, Work Nation prepares talents to meet specific industry needs in line with global shifts in the nature of work and skill set demands.

The Work Nation Team noted that currently, 10,000 Employers are registered on the platform, adding that 1,000 vacancies are currently available while 8,000 trained Jobseekers have been employed.
