Good News: Humanitarian Affairs Ministry set to fast-track Npower Stipend Payment, multiple alerts await January 2022


The Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development has intensified efforts to clear the outstanding payment of the Batch C Stream 1 Npower beneficiaries before the end of January, 2022.

The National Social Investment Management System  (NASIMS), under the ministry, apologising for the delay and appreciating the patience of the beneficiaries on Thursday noted that it has initiated the payment of the outstanding stipends to the beneficiaries.  

As at this moment, the month of October and November have been authorised by the Npower Management, "Pending" the crediting of the beneficiaries Bank Accounts by their specific host Banks. 

The indication here entails that the month of December will be added soonest and smiles would rebound among the tensed Batch C Npower beneficiaries in January, 2022 as multiple alerts awaits to reward their patience.

The Humanitarian Affairs Ministry has also reteriated its resolve to usher in the second stream (Stream II) of the Batch C Npower beneficiaries which would be made up of 490,000 beneficiaries across the Federation in no distant time.

Sadiya Umar Farouk, the Minister for Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development giving the hint in Kano said it is based on the President's directives to add 1 million Nigerian Youths into the Batch C Npower Programme, as away to achieve the national objectives of poverty reduction and job creation.

These and more follow the range of events that would spice up the Npower programme in 2022 as we say bye-bye to the year 2021, in high hopes and full expectation of a more rewarding year in 2022.
