Breaking: Ministry announces deadline for Physical Verification, highlights requirements for the exercise


The Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development has announced the deadline for the Physical Verification slated to commence on 10th September, 2021.

The Ministry in an official statement on Friday declared 24th September, 2021 as the last day for the Physical verification of the 510,000 shortlisted beneficiaries of the Batch C Stream 1 N-power Programme.

According to the N-power Management, the Physical Verification is to enable sighting of all the documents uploaded by the beneficiaries during the application for the N-power Programme. 

Highlighting the requirements for the Physical Verification, the N-power Management encouraged the successful N-power Beneficiaries to make available their Reference Identification Number (N-power ID), Valid Means of Identification and Academic Qualification as prerequisites for the Physical Verification. 

In a recent development, reports from various States have indicated that the Physical Verification scheduled to commence today, did not hold in many Local Governments of the Country as Scheduled.

According to reliable reports, States such as Lagos, Kaduna, Borno, Enugu, Kaduna, Katsina and Edo State have communicated a new schedule to the successful N-power Beneficiaries in the State.

Reports also showed that while it is was infeasible for the Physical verification to commence today as earlier Scheduled, next week holds a positive prediction for the compulsory part of the N-power Beneficiaries Screening.
