N-power Batch C: Has Deployment really commenced

There have been recent media reports in circulation stating that the National Social Investment Management System (NASIMS) has commenced deployment of the successful 500,000 beneficiaries of the Batch C Stream 1 Npower programme.

The claim raised doubt and fear among the thousands of the applicants as many have not witnessed any deployment in their NASIMS Dashboard or around them.

Many applicants began to wonder and allege that "politically motivated candidates" may have been chosen to replace the shortlisted 550,000 Applicants who recently participated in the compulsory Biometric Verification (Enrollment) organised for the shortlisted applicants.

Among the set of applicants who grew in curiosity are the millions of applicants hoping on being selected for the Batch C Stream 2 N-power Programme, who wanted to know when the Shortlisting of the Stream 2 applicants would commence.

The National Social Investment Management System (NASIMS) has in a statement, when contacted, refuted the widely circulated claim stating that the Deployment of the Batch C Stream 1 N-power Beneficiaries has not commenced.

However, the Deployment of the Batch C Stream 1 N-power Beneficiaries would commence in this month of August as the Ministry intensifies efforts to avert further delay.

Again, the shortlisting of the N-power Batch C Stream 2 applicants would commence only when the Batch C Stream 1 N-power beneficiaries have been successfully deployed and commenced official duties.
