N-power Batch C: Next phases to commence fully from August as FG declares 20th and 21st July as Public Holidays

While many applicants of the Batch C N-power Programme expect the next phases of the engagement processes to happen this month, it will be unpromising to state that much would still happen within the month of July.

The Federal Government has declared July 20th and 21st as public holidays for the celebration of Eid El Kabir. What it means is, after work on Monday 19th, there will be another work days only on Thursday 22nd and Friday 23rd, July. From Monday 26th July, the month would have ended before anyone noticed it.

According to the National Social Investment Management System (NASIMS), the Next phase of the Batch C engagement will be deployment of successful beneficiaries to their Places of Primary Assignments (PPA).

A reliable source has disclosed that the State Focal Persons have forwarded the list of all the Places of Primary Assignments to NASIMS for the deployment of the N-power Beneficiaries, however, no list has been sent back to the States as list of successful Batch C N-power Beneficiaries.

NASIMS has also stated that "Physical Verification" is part of the 2020/2021 N-power Engagement processes. But with the decision of deploying the N-power Beneficiaries before physical verification, unlike before, little can be said of how effective the new method would be to the Programme.

Kindly note that no "Physical Verification" is ongoing any where as at this moment until official directives is issued nationwide for the commencement of the process.

The Applicants awaiting Stream 2 of the Batch C N-power Programme are advised to remain patient as the 500,000 Batch C Stream 2 programme is real and will happen.

However, it is pertinent to know that the stream 2 will not commence until the 500,000 Stream 1 N-power Beneficiaries are fully engaged into the Programme.

In all, patience is highly advised while the National Social Investment Management System under the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development work out modalities for efficiency and transparency of the N-power Batch C beneficiaries engagement.
