MSME Survival Fund: 17th or 18th May announced Payment unofficial

A Twitter Account impersonating the official Twitter Handle for the MSME Survival Fund Scheme has created tension among the applicants  of the Scheme claiming that payment continues on 17th or 18th of May, 2021.

The Handle https://mobile.twitter.com/Adams_Magayaki stated:

"The payment of the remaining batch will maybe start receiving payment from 18 Monday. please check your account regularly."

It is pertinent to note that the official Twitter Handle for the MSME Survival is https://mobile.twitter.com/SurvivalFund_ng and the claim by the above Twitter handle is unofficial.

While it is positive to be expectant, it is however demeaning to build hope on false claim, which will result in negetive comments against the Scheme or Federal Government.

The Project Delivery Office of the Scheme had encouraged verified applicants of the Scheme to be patient noting that payment is made in batches according to the amount released by the Federal Government at the time of the payment.

After every batch of Payment, a certain period is taken to check and balance the fund released before the commencement of another batch of Payment.

This is the major reason all verified accounts are not paid all at once as anticipated by the applicants.

By the end of the on going payment to the additional 146,065 successful beneficiaries, a total of 465,820 beneficiaries would have been paid under the Payroll Support Track and 46,117 consistuting 50% paid under the General Grant.

The applicants of the Scheme are encouraged to remain positive as the payment to all qualified and verified beneficiaries are on going according to the pace of the Project Delivery Office.
