NYIF: Technical glitches hamper training the second day, FMYSD calls for patience

Technical glitches has stood on the way of the Entrepreneurship Development Training slated for the first batches of candidates selected among the recently pre-qualified applicants of the Nigerian Youths Investment Fund Programme.

The Training which was scheduled to commence on 22nd March, 2021 for most of the selected first Batch candidates was shifted to the second day, 23rd March, 2021 but has again been impeded by the continued technical issues on the e-learning platform https://fmysdenterprisetraining.ng.

The Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development has however apologised for the recent delay stating that the Training would commence for the selected Batches later today when all issues would have been hopefully resolved.

Oluwakemi Ann-Melody Areola, the Special Assistance to the Ministry on ICT and Corporate Relations in the statement through a tweet on her official Twitter handle emphasised that there are 3 batches (A,B and C) already notified for the training on the e-learning platform.

Mrs Areola added that any of the selected candidates for the "First Batches" of the training who has not gotten the login details is not included in the Batch A, B and C, and should patiently wait for their turns as further directives would be communicated to them through their e-mail addresses.

The batching of the training became necessary to ensure that the "Class limit" on the e-learning portal would not be exceeded which would in turn trigger collapse of the portal or continued inefficiency of the platform. Hence, it is very important to remain patient and hopeful for a favourable outcome.

Selected applicants who are to participate in the training are encouraged to visit https://youtu.be/5zY-QXGLWao to learn how to log in and use the e-learning portal https://fmysdenterprisetraining.ng for the NYIF loan scheme Entrepreneurship Development Training.

Note that the candidates are selected from the pre-qualified applicants of the Programme who have successfully completed their loan application through the loan application portal  https://nyif.nmfb.com.ng/app and have met the requirements for further participation in the loan approval process.

Applicants who have not been pre-qualified should not panic as Pre-qualification is ongoing, and Pre-qualified applicants who are yet to complete there loan application, should as quickly as possible complete the stage so as to stand a chance in the next batch of the Training invitation.
