The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has, Monday, released the list of Approved International Money Transfer Operators which are officially validated and authorised by the apex bank to conduct International Money Transfers.
Recall that the CBN had in December, 2020 withdrawn the operating licences of 7 Nigerian Payment Service Providers: Paymaster Limited, Grand Towers Limited, Transaction Processing System (TPS), Easifuel Limited, E-Revenue Gateway Limited, Eartholeum Network Limited and Globasure Limited, for voilating the apex bank policies and failing to meet the financial service obligations.
According to CBN, these Approved International Money Transfer Operators have been revalidated as at 28 February, 2021 and are approved for international monetary transactions.
