COVID-19: FG set for Vaccination, opens portal for e-registration | See how to register

The Federal Government has concluded plans for the vaccination of Nigerians against the COVID-19 Virus as part of its efforts to control the second wave of the COVID-19 Pandemic in the country.

A portal https://www.nphcdaict.com.ng/publicreg that would enable Nigerians register electronically and be scheduled for the vaccination has been released by the Federal Government.

The Executive Director of the National Primary Health Care Development  Agency, Dr Faisal Shuaib, has in a press statement called on Nigerians to join hands together to subdue the second wave of the COVID-19 outbreak by making themselves available for the vaccination.

Dr Shuaibu encouraged Nigerians to shun doubters and naysayers who are bent on misinforming the people against the goodwill of the Federal Government.

"Dear Nigerians, there is no doubting the fact that the second wave of COVID-19 pandemic has proven to be more devastating in its attack.
It’s an extremely dangerous virus and it’s spreading very fast, ravaging and killing citizens across the world; Nigeria is not an exception.

"The Federal Government of Nigeria has taken a step to halt the spread of the virus by procuring WHO approved vaccines to be administered on Nigerians free of charge. Consequently, the National Primary Health Care Development Agency, which is the approved Federal Government Agency charged with the responsibility for all vaccine matters is working closely with the Federal Ministry of Health, the National Assembly, the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 and NAFDAC to make COVID-19 vaccine available and accessible to all Nigerians.
The vaccine is efficacious and safe.

"Dear Nigerians, don’t listen to doubters, naysayers and social media misinformation and rumours.
Protect yourselves, your families and loved ones. Get vaccinated!," Dr Shuaibu stated.
