The Government of Cross Rivers State has achieved a milestone in Agricultural Industrialisation by developing a fully automated Chicken Processing Factory, Calachika Chicken Processing Factory, producing large quantity of fresh frozen "Calackika Chicken" in the State.
In a press briefing with Channels Television, the Cross Rivers State Governor, Ben Ayade disclosed that his Government has already commenced a subsidized chicken sale even as the price of chicken soar in the market as Yuletide fills the atmosphere.
According to the State Governor, a chicken size sold in Spar at N2,800 would be purchased at a very low rate at N1,800 in the State.
Ayade called on CrossRiverians to visit Ayade Industrial Park and ask for Calachika Frozen Chicken to have a full bite of fresh frozen Nigerian Chicken other than the Formalin-infused hazardous Chicken imported from abroad which is placed on contraband by the Nigerian Customs Service.
The Cross Rivers Governor further disclosed that his Government is need of 2,000 young Poultry Farmer who would be able to supply at least 5,000 birds per week to sustain the processing capacity of the factory.
