Just In: Humanitarian Ministry sends message to unpaid N-power Beneficiaries

The Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development had, at the wee hour of today, informed N-power Beneficiaries whose accounts were flagged by the Government Integrated Financial Management Information System Server (GIFMIS) and have been unpaid since the month of March, to check their e-mail addresses and upload the requested documents before the stated deadline.

"Re: Monthly Allowance of NPower Volunteers."

"Volunteers with payments flagged by gifmis from March 2020, should kindly check their emails and submit the required documents before the specified deadline,"

The Ministry has commenced verification and processing of the monthly stipends of more than 14,000 N-power Beneficiaries who have not been recieving their payment since the migration of the payment platform to the government Integrated payment server.

Indicating possible reasons for the account flagging on the government server, the Ministry had noted that all affected N-power Beneficiaries who filter through the verification process would recieve payments equivalent to the said months of non-payment.

The Ministry had continued the payment of the July stipends of the Batch B N-power Beneficiaries which commenced last week as many beneficiaries have acknowledged receipt of their Stipends through their Social groups today morning.

However, the Batch A N-power Beneficiaries who have been excluded from the July Stipend as a result of their disengagement date have braced on full anticipation of the exit plan as the only hope of furthering their lives endeavours as the peril of their disengagement heighten.

They have urged the Humanitarian Ministry to quicken with due consideration, their exit packages as they have fulfilled the request of the Ministry through the State Focal Persons, noting that the trauma of loss of a source of income is severe especial at this Post-COVID-19 era.
