N-power Batch C: No need to panic

The 2020 applicants of the N-power Program have been urged to calm their nerves and disregard any rumour of assessement or emails as none of these is part of the critical screening process on going.

The N-power application portal which recieved more than 5 million applications for the 400,000 opportunities is critical in selecting the eligible beneficiaries.

The Minister for Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Umar Farouk, in a Television interview had stated that the huge applications recieved from teeming Nigerians who aspire to participate in the N-power program, are currently being reviewed and would, in no distant time, be made available to the general public.

There has been increasing tension, on the Social Media, among the intending beneficiaries of the N-power Program as carriers of rumour suffocate the patience of the applicants.

N-power Program follows series of processes which must be observed to ensure transperancy as noted by the Humanitarian Minister, hence, requires patience from the applicants to ensure that only eligible candidates are selected as beneficiaries.

The Minister had earlier stated that the 2020 N-power recruitment would give priority to women inclusion as well as people living with disabilities as they portend more vulnerability in the society which would be minimised as possible.

The Humanitarian Affairs Ministry being highly focused on the need to reach out to the helpless and vulnerable in the society has landed an achievement of establishing a commission for people living with disabilities.

Every applicant of the program is urged to disregard any rumour as all necessary procedures would be made officially available to the general public as at when due, as the ministry hasten to guarantee transparency in all the selection processes.
