Breaking: NALDA batches Application


The National Agricultural Land Development Authority with the mandate of the Buhari Young Farmers Network, an initiative of the Federal Government to encourage young people especially graduates to embrace commercial Agriculture, boost local food production and  ensure food sufficiency in Nigeria, has batched the application process.

According to NALDA, they have received huge application which are currently being processed while the portal is scheduled to reopen on Thursday 11th June for further application.

The Buhari Young Farmers Network, the current largest  Agricultural program in Nigeria, will engage 100 young farmers per each of the 774 Local Governments of the Fedration, and will be expanded to  2000 per Local Government before the end of 2021.


President Muhammadu Buhari who has taken the affairs of the youth as a priority, has initiated highly inclusive programs such as the National Social Investmen Program, FMARD PACE project, Special Public Works Program among others and now Buhari Young Farmers Network, regardless of the party affiliation of any youth.
