Afolabi Apologises to N-power Volunteers

The Special Assistant to the President on Job Creation and Youth Employment, Afolabi Imoukhuede, has apologised to N-power beneficiaries over the incessant delay of Beneficiaries Stipends that has persisted since October, 2019.

The payment of the beneficiaries March Stipends appeared sketchy to the amazement of numerous beneficiaries who are yet to receive their payments. Imoukhuede noted that the benefiaries who are yet to recieve their payments should not panic as the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social development are aware of the situation and are curently reconcilling accounts with relevant stakeholders.

Mr Afolabi assured that all active and validated volunteers who are yet to be paid would recieve their stipends in no distant time.

In the letter written to the volunteers by Mr Afolabi, he indicated that the change of the Payment platform is responsible for the 'FEDER' inscription on payment alerts recieved by the volunteers who had wondered if their recent payment was a COVID-19 Palliative payment to Nigerians from the Federal Government.

Imoukhuede added that the recent delay in Payment of the March Stipend is due to the hosting of the new platform which would be used for the payment of the N-power beneficiaries stipends from April onwards.
