The Nigerian Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has taken to their Facebook handle to report that the country has recorded 8 new confirmed cases today bringing the number of Confirmed cases to 30.
Currently, the breakdown of the Confirmed cases according to States is as follows:
- Lagos 22
- FCT 4
- Ogun 2
- Ekiti 1
- Oyo 1
The Center noted that two confirmed cases have recovered while 28 cases are active and being treated.
The COVID-19 pandemic has dealt a blow to the world as 337,880 people are currently infected leaving 14,444 dead.
Italy battle against the war-like viral infection has soured as the country has recorded 5,476 deaths topping as the country with the highest number of Deaths in the world today from the Coronavirus infection.
