The ministry vowed to penalise beneficiaries who are found absent or may have absconded from their Places of Assignment.

"We want to make it clear that any beneficiary who is found absent in his/her PPA without official permission from his/her supervisor will be placed on payment hold for 45 days.

"If at the end of the 45 days, there is no official clearance Letter for re-instatement of the beneficiary by the State Focal Person, the beneficiary will be exited from the Npower Programme", the Ministry warned.

The Npower Management advised that beneficiaries who may have other forms of engagement should stick to one as it has taken the decision of full implementation of the "Terms of Engagement" in the Programme.

The Ministry further noted that it is working tirelessly to ensure that the Npower beneficiaries who are yet to recieve their Stipends, and those with backlogs are cleared without hesitation.
