Registration begins for 20,000 Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Empowerment Programme | Register now!

The registration for the Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Empowerment Programme has commenced today 6th September, 2021, and ends on 20th October, 2021.

Launched on 31st of August, 2021 by the Federal Government, the Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme (NJFP) is a youth empowerment partnership initiative between the Federal Government of Nigeria and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).

The programmd was necessitated by the rising unemployment and the COVID-19 pandemic which are all impacting the ability of young Nigerians to find work.

The programme seeks to connect talented graduates with local job opportunities that apply to their expertise, while equipping them with world-class practical knowledge and relevant skills. It does not matter if you have no job experience!

Eligibility Criteria

1. Applicant must be a Nigerian citizen.

2. Be a fresh graduate (Bachelor's Degree) from any discipline and graduated not earlier than 2017.

3. Graduate with at least a Second Class Lower (2.2) and above.

4. Be at most 30 years old.

5. Not currently engaged in any employment.

6. Have completed the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) OR have a certificate of exemption from the NYSC.Demonstrate interest/commitment in chosen career field.

7. Demonstrate interest/commitment to contributing to Nigeria’s socio-economic development.

8. Have excellent time management and a professional attitude.Have good verbal and written communication skills.

How to Apply

1. Applicants should visit https://www.njfp.ng/apply

2. Fill in First Name, Last Name, Email Address and Password.

3. And, click on Register.

4. A mail will be sent to either inbox or Spam.

5. Open the mail and copy the verificatio code, then click on "Link" in the body of the mail.

6. Past the Verification code and click on "Activate"

7. Proceed to log in with Email address and created password

8. Click on Personal Information and provide the required details.

9. Complete the rest of Educational Background, Past Experience/Achievement, Personal Essay, Document Upload, and then Submit.

Benefits for Nigeria Jubilee Fellows 

1. Fellows will be matched with host organisations based on their interests as well as those aligned to the organisation.

2. They will receive a monthly stipend from NJFP3 clear pathways are available for the Jubilee.
 
3. Fellow at the end of their active engagement in the fellowship:

(a) High performing Jubilee Fellows may go on to be retained by their respective host organisations.

(b) Fellows with interest in entrepreneurship would have garnered sufficient skills and knowledge on the job which will be invaluable as they pursue other opportunities

(b) With newly acquired on-the-job skills & competencies, experience. exposure and a formidable alumni network which can be leveraged, fellows are better positioned and equipped to compete and access future jobs and employment opportunities.
