NYIF: Beware of http://Nyif.com.ng - Nirsal Microfinance Bank warns

The Nirsal Microfinance Bank has warned applicants of the Nigeria Youth Investment Fund (NYIF) to beware of a fraudulent website requesting applicants to Re-Validate their BVN in order to access their loan.

NMFB in a statement, Thursday, warned that the website http://Nyif.com.ng which is currently circulated by fraudsters, is not from the bank and does not represent the interest of the Federal Government on the Nigeria Youth Investment Fund.

"Dear Applicants,

"Our attention has been drawn to a fraudulent website http://Nyif.com.ng which is currently being circulated to unsuspecting applicants, requesting that they should validate their BVN on the fake website in order to access their loan.

"Whenever you are in doubt, please contact via our helpline: 090100269007 or send a mail to info@nmfb.com.ng

"The valid website for the Nigeria Youth Investment Fund remains nyif.nmfb.com.ng and nyif.nmfb.com.ng/app," NMFB stated.

The warning by the bank became imperative as the Federal Government readies another batch of 25,000 applicants of Loan Scheme, ahead of training and disbursement of their loan.

The Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development in a statement, Sunday, disclosed that it was in consultations with other partners to expand the loans disbursement platform and fast-track access to the Fund, adding that loan amounting to one billion, six hundred and twenty-nine million, two hundred and twenty thousand naira (N1,629,220,000.00) has been disbursed to 5,200 youth in the Scheme.
