Breaking: N-power Beneficiaries commence online Protest over non-implementation of NEXIT Plan, others

The beneficiaries of the Federal Government N-power Programme have, Today, commenced two weeks online Protest through  the Twitter Platform, to express their displeasure to the Federal Government over the incessant delay in the implementation of the NEXIT Plan, among other demands.

In a message shared by the N-power beneficiaries, they also lamented the denial of over 14,000 N-power Beneficiaries of their 3 months Stipends while tagging important personalities such as Vice President Prof. Yemi Osibanjo, the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Umar Farouk, among others.

The National President of the 36 States and FCT N-power Reps Forum, Comrade Kabiru Pelemi, Tuesday, called for the 2 weeks online Protest while decrying the silence of the Federal Government in responding to their demands.

Speaking on the need to embark on the protest by the beneficiaries of the N-power Programme, the National President of N-power Youths Congress (NYC), Hon Joseph Enan Maigari in a tweet through his Twitter handle, condemned the silence of the Federal Government on the plights of the exited 500,000 N-power Beneficiaries who have been thrown into the bites of the present economic downtime, while enumerating the dangers facing the exited beneficiaries.
