COVID-19 TCF: Old and New Applicants, keep checking your Application Status

The Nirsal Microfinance Bank has continued the approval/disbursement of loans to thousands of Nigerians who declared their interest for the COVID-19 Targetted Credit Facility Loan, both Household and SME, although in batches.

It is important for the applicants to make checking their application status a daily routine as all the applicants are unlikely to recieve approval text messages due to one reason or the other while approved loan can be reversed in 1 week if one fails to accept it.

Both the old and new applicants are advised to start checking their application status through the simple method explained below.

How to check COVID-19 TCF application status for both old and new applicants

1. Open https://covid19.nmfb.com.ng

2. When it loads, select the type of Loan you applied for. Either SME or Household

3. Enter your BVN. Do not worry, the website is the official website of Nirsal Microfinance Bank for the COVID-19 TCF just as https://nyif.nmfb.com.ng is for Nigeria Youth Investment Fund and https://nirsalmfb.caderp.com/Account/Register for AGSMEIS Loan Scheme.

4. A response will be displayed when you enter your BVN.

(A) If it says your Loan has been approved, it will load your details asking you to accept your Loan offer. Proceed to complete the process and enter bank name and your account number. Make sure to avoid mistakes here.

(B) If it says 'Your loan has not been approved, check back later, kindly check back later as they said.

(C) If it however displays "BVN does not exist", do not panic. Just keep checking back from time to time as approval is on going and hope is high.

Patience is the only price one has to pay to get COVID-19 Targetted Credit Facility Loan. Do not pay anyone a dime to facilitate the approval the Loan to avoid being scammed.

  1. Please why is it saying reject loan for someone but in the file the loan has been approved already but instead of accepting it saying the person should reject the loan

    1. It is treated as Rejected when an applicant refuses to accept the offer within 1 week of approval. Remember there are thousands of applicants and an offer can not be waiting more than 1 week of approval.

  2. Please what will i do if the approval letter display "I have read and rejected the covid 19 loan.

    1. Kindly re-apply. Once the loan is not accepted within one week of approval, it will autoreverse as a rejected loan. Why because many Nigerians are in need of this opportunity while the fund is limited.

    Thank you
