MSME Survival Fund Free CAC Registration: Some Eungu Applicants to validate their Registration details


Following the release of the first 100,000 beneficiaries of the MSME Survival Funds Formalisation Supports Track also known as Free CAC Registration across the Federation, applicants of the Scheme in Enugu State are advised to check their e-mail addresses.

The Small and Medium Enterprise Agency, Enugu (SME Center, Enugu) has, Monday, dispatched electronic mails to applicants who are required to validated certain details on or before 10th February, 2021, ahead of recieving their CAC Certificate Grants.

The mail reads:

"Enugu SME CAC Grant
Sir/Ma,
Good evening. I write to update you on your Free Business Name Registration application. 

Your application was not successful due to one or more information which was not properly documented in your application. In-order to complete your application kindly reply this email with following information.

1. FULL NAME (Surname, First Name and Middle Name)
2. PHONE NUMBER
3. LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA OF RESIDENCE 
4. ADDRESS OF BUSINESS
5. RESIDENCE ADDRESS

Sir/Ma, kindly treat this email as urgent as the deadline for submission is midnight of Wednesday 10th February 2021. All emails after this date will not be attended to.

Thank you."

A State by State breakdown of the beneficiaries of the Formalisation Supports Track by the Project Delivery Office of the MSME Survival Funds Scheme indicates that Enugu State has so far secured 1,314 CAC Certificate Grants out the 100,000 released certificates nationwide. Others are:

Laolu Akande, the Senior Special Assiastant to Prof Yemi Osibanjo on Media and Publicity in a tweet, 8th November, 2020 https://mobile.twitter.com/akandeoj/status/1325485013790568449 had disclosed that as part of Federal Government’s post Covid-19 Pandemic survival intervention to support micro and small businesses formalise their businesses, 6,606 Business Names would be registered in each of the 34 states while Abia, Lagos and Kano would have 7,906, 9,084 and 8,406 respectively.
