The Tony Elumelu Foundation (TEF), Africa’s leading philanthropy dedicated to empowering African entrepreneurs, opens applications on its TEFConnect digital platform (www.tefconnect.com) today, January 1, 2021.
The application which would last from 1st January to 31st March, 2021 is the 7th Cohort of the Tony Elumelu Foundation’s $100million Entrepreneurship Programme since it's launched in 2015 to empower 10,000 entrepreneurs over 10 years.
This year’s intervention prioritises the economic recovery of small and medium scale enterprises (SMEs) and young African entrepreneurs, following the Covid-19 disruption to economic activities.
If you have a business idea or a start-up under 3 years of existence in any sector across 54 African countries, you can apply to join the Programme at www.tefconnect.com.
Selected entrepreneurs will join the current 9,036 beneficiaries to receive business training, mentorship, $5,000 non-refundable seed capital and networking opportunities.

How to Apply
1. Open www.tefconnect.com or https://tefconnect.net
2. Click on 'Apply Now' and allow it to load
3. Click 'Register here' or "Log in here" if you already have an account
4. Enter First Name, Last Name, Email address, Password (must be at least 8 characters containing an Upper case A-Z, number 0-9, Special character such as #$@% £¥).
5. Close the Policy Agreement key ✔ then click on "Join Tefconnect now"
6. A pop-up appears notifying that your registration is successful, proceed to your mail to confirm Email Address.
7. A message titled 'Info' from info@tefconnect.com would appear in your mail. Open the mail and Click on "Confirm Email" to Verify your Email.
8. Confirm your mail, Proceed to log in and complete your application
