N-power: Many things recently gone wrong

There is no doubt things have not been going so well with the popular Federal Government N-power Program recently. Among the things highlighted as follows have wrongly impacted the laudable initiative of the present adminstration recently and further steers doubts on the present implementation, future and credible sustainability of the Program.

There had been several reports from authorities which were emphatic that the Batch C N-power Program would commence it's next phases in November this year. This has turned to be a history as even the Batch C official website http://fmds.npower.gov.ng/ has been offline without any communication on when again the next phase would commence for the millions of Nigerian who had tendered their application for the 2020 N-power Program.

Have you even noticed that the NPVN Portal https://npvn.npower.gov.ng/login  which ranks the 546th most visited website in Nigeria and houses personal and banking details of thousands of the N-power Beneficiaries has lost it's full privacy protection upon the expiration of it's security certificate?

This makes beneficiaries data vulnerable to cyber attacks as experts warn it's unsafe without a secure connection usually denoted by the green locked key at the foremost left of a web address.

Also, there is currently a huge communication gap between the N-power Beneficiaries and the handlers of the program especially the Social Media Channels. There has been virtually no recent social Media update through the official Facebook and Twitter handles which previously respond to volunteers' complaints promptly and solving issues directly according to individual's querry and needs.

It was a slight relief to the exited N-power Beneficiaries following the release of the NEXIT Portal https://nexit-fmhds.cbn.gov.ng as the Humanitarian Ministry collaborates CBN in a bid to enable them directly benefit from economic, empowerment and entrepreneurship opportunities presented by the apex bank as earlier promised.

However, the registration process has suffered setbacks which has remained unresolved and purporting assertive statements from the beneficiaries.

Among the key challanges identified are e-mail verification failure, non-recognition of some of the beneficiaries identities by the portal, log in challanges even upon recieving a verification mail, website slow and crashing, and others.
