COVID-19 Targetted Credit Facility: Drums of excitement as disbursement continues, hopes for approval heighten - Daily Info Update

Welcome to a brand new week and the last day of the month. November was a blessing to many of us and in December, smiles shall be ours all through.

While disbursement to those whose COVID-19 Targetted Credit Facility loans have been approved continues, report reaching our desk is that more approvals would go round the States this week and onwards.

It has been joy joy joy! last week following the decision of the Central Bank of Nigeria to increase the fund allocated for the Scheme from N150Billion to N300Billion which has heightened our hopes and assured that many applicants who successfully applied for the loan in April, May or June/July would benefit from the laudable consideration of the Federal Government, having assessed how impactful the program has been.

For some reasons, you may not get an approval text messages when your Loan is approved, so be proactive in other not to miss a great opportunity and keep checking your Status.

To check if your Loan has been approved, follow this method:

1. Open https://covid19.nmfb.com.ng

2. When it loads, select the type of Loan you applied for. Either SME or Household

3. Enter your BVN. Do not worry, the website is safe. That's the official website of Nirsal Microfinance Bank.

4. A response will be displayed. 
If it says your Loan has been approved, it will load your details asking you to accept your Loan offer. Proceed to complete the process and enter bank name and your account number.

If it says 'Your loan has not been approved, check back later, kindly check back later as they said.

If it however displays "BVN does not exist", do not panic. Just keep checking back from time to time as approval is on going.
