Latest update on the UBEC Federal Teachers Scheme Exam

The Federal Teachers Scheme Examination scheduled to take place on Saturday, 24th October, 2020 will not hold as earlier scheduled.

According to several phone calls to the Commision yesterday, the Commision noted that the state of the Nation presently would not permit for the Nationwide screening Examination.

The Personnels contacted however stated that a new schedule would be communicated at the due time to enable the shortlisted Candidates partake in the examination.

The Commision yesterday released lists of CBT Centers across the Federation where the exam was arranged to take place and urged the shortlisted Candidates to visit their State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) to find out their Exam Center.

The contacted Personnels while stating the postponement of the Examination however did not make reference to any change in the scheduled venues. 

UBEC had last week released the names of 14,800 shortlisted candidates out of more than 70,000 applicants who applied for the scheme, in the statistics of 400 shortlisted candidates per each of the 36 States plus the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
