Breaking: UBEC fixes Exam date, states requirements

 

In furtherance to the  2020 Federal Teachers Scheme recruitment, the Universal Basic Education Commission has yesterday released the exam date for the screening of shortlisted candidates.

UBEC had last week released the names of 14,800 shortlisted candidates out of more than 70,000 applicants who applied for the scheme, in the statistics of 400 shortlisted candidates per each of the 36 States plus the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

According to the Universal Basic Education Commission Management, the screening Examination would hold as follows:

Date: Saturday 24th October, 2020

Venue: Designated Computer Based Test Centers (CBT)  in all the State Capitals and Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory.

Time: 7.am Prompt.

The management furthered that verification of candidates for the secreening examination would commence at 8:30am pointing out that the address of the designated CBT Center in each State will be provided by the State Universal Basic Education Board, SUBEB,  UBEC Zonal and State Offices nationwide.

Stating the requirements for the screening exam, the management advised the shortlisted Candidates to come to the screening Centers with the following:

 1. Original Copy of the Printed Application Form

 2. Original Credentials for sighting as well as photocopy for submission at the test centres.

 3. Valid Identity Card: National Identity Card, Voter's Card, Drivers' License, International Passport. 

 4. Face Mask and Hand Sanitisers

UBEC Management stressed that lateness to the screening centers would not be tolerated noting that all shortlisted candidates should comply to the COVID-19 Protocols at the centers and also ensure that prohibited items are not brought to the exam centers.
