Breaking: EdoDecide2020, Pastor Ize Iyamu set to war Obaseki in court

The candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the just concluded Edo Gubernatorial election,  Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu will on Tuesday  proceed to the tribunal to file against Godwin Obaseki, the Candidate of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), as he (Ize-Iyamu) is dissatisfied with the result of the election which declared Obaseki winner with 84,336 marginal votes.

Disclosing this early hours of today, APC for Continuity Stated, " Confirmed, APC (Pastor Iyamu) will challenge Obaseki's gubernatorial victory. Petition will be filed at the Tribunal on Tuesday, October 6th, 2020. Details soon."

The Edo State APC Chairman, Anselm U. Ojezua Esq in a congratulatory message to Gov Godwin Obaseki had blamed the loss of the All Progressive Congress on the "needless and avoidable crisis foisted on the party by a selfish,  insensitive, arrogant and irresponsible leadership in the party", urging the people of the state to work with the governor-elect as "the people of Edo State have made their choice in a very clear and unambiguous manner."

Also, the leadership of the All Progressive Congress (APC) had mounted pressure on the APC candidate in the saturday Edo Guber Election to accept his defeat by the candidate of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), Governor Godwin Obaseki but Pastor Ize-Iyamu may have seen possibilty of overturning the election result to his victory prompting his decision to proceed to the tribunal.
