Breaking: President Buhari to address the Nation from Eagle Square

The Special Adviser to President Mohammadu Buhari on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, has disclosed that the press part of the ceremony commemorating the 60th Independent day Aniversory of Nigeria would be broadcast live from the Eagle Square, Abuja.

Adesina noted that President Mohammadu Buhari's live address would commence after the Anniversary parade beginning at 10am in morning.

The live broadcast would be covered by many Radio and TV Stations especially through the Network Service of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA).

The Nigeria Television Authority however stated that in view of the open-air live address, the traditional early morning October 1 Presidential Broadcast will not feature on Thursday.

Nigeria, the most populous country in Africa and the Giant of Africa with estimated population of about 200 Million people, had first Independence in October 1st, 1960.

Nigeria is blessed with good people, fertile soil, healthy animals and vegetation, diverse culture and many economic resources with crude oil as the major source of income.
