The Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Project for Agricultural Cordination and Planning (FMARDpace) has announced a change in payment package for the Agric for Food and Job Plan Farmers Enumeration project.
FMARDPace had earlier projected to pay the Enumerators the sum of N300 per each successfully captured Farmer which would be paid in two phases as: N150 per each successfully registered Farmer at the end of every week and N150 per each successfully registered Farmer to be paid about 1 month after the program.
Currently, the Ministry of Agriculture team for the Agric for Food and Job Plan project has increased the pay package to N500 per each successfully registered Farmer.
The team while announcing the change of pay package warned the Enumerators to desist from manipulating the process as false registration would be detected and the Enumerator evicted from the program without consideration.
