The Federal Ministry of Humanitarian affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development has announced that over a Million Nigerians have applied for the 400,000 N-power 2020 Recruitment within 48hrs.
In a statement signed by the Ministry’s Deputy Director of Information, Mrs Rhoda Ishaku Iliya, the Ministry noted that N-power opportunity is for every Nigerian aged 18-35 especially Nigerians who do not have tangible means of livelihood, whether graduate or non-graduate.
Mrs Iliya noted that while the Ministry is not shaken by the number of Nigerians who are indicating interest in the N-power program, Nigerians should also know that their data in the application website ‘npower.fmhds.gov.ng’ are safe, against a widely circulated rumour that some hackers have hacked the website and data therein, rendered vulnerable.
The Ministry further assured Nigerians that the selection process would be fair and transparent, and the public would be carried along at every stage of the recruitment process.
The 2020 N-power Batch C program which centers on Agriculture has the Agricultural sector ‘N-Agro’ open to all Nigerians who are interested in Agricultural activities irrespective of possessing a certificate or not, and would last for a duration of 6 months.
While the rest of the non-graduate Category of the N-power Program would last for 6 months, the N-Teach and N-Health are specifically for graduates and would last for a period of 12 months.
