Atiku will run for Presidency in 2023 -Son

Atiku’s son and serving Commissioner for Works and Energy in Adamawa State while presenting the scorecard of his Ministry as the administration of Governor Ahmed Finitiri clocks 1 year, disclosed that his father, former Vice President Alhaji  Atiku Abubakar, would run for Presidency come 2023.

Personally, I don’t see anything wrong with my father contesting for the presidency. In 2023, my father will be aspiring to the number one office in the land because he has been an astute, strategic,  master politician for almost four decades.

The former  Vice president had lost to President Mohammadu Buhari of All Progressive Congress (APC) in 2019 when he contested under the umbrella of the People’s People Democratic Party (PDP) alongside Peter Obi (Former Governor of Anambra State) as his running mate.

Atiku had seeked for a tribunal justice after the 2019 election on the ground of the election not being free and fair, but willingly declined pursuance of the case after some unfavourable judicial deliberation.

Adamu Atiku-Abubakar in his address furthered that his coming late into politics was because he listened to his father’s advice urging him to spend more time in the private sector to gain enough experience which would be crucial for him in public life.

I am basically here to serve my people; if I am called by the people back home to run for the Senate,  I don’t see anything wrong with that.
