COVID-19: Nigeria Confirms New cases as some Celebrities gasp for fresh Air


The Nigerian Center for Disease Control has at 1pm and 6:25 pm Tuesday reported 4 New confirmed cases of Coronavirus infection in Nigeria. In their statement through their Facebook handle, they noted that those that tested positive are returning travelers with travel history from Germany, UK and a contact of  previously confirmed case.

Matters Arising
The Nigerian Chief of Staff to the President, Mr Abba Kyari, has reportedly tested positive to the deadly Coronavirus. Two of his Aides also tested positive to the virus while others have been advised to self-isolate.

Some Nigerians have taken to Twitter to celebrate Mr Abba Kyari's positive test result but Former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubaka rather offered his prayers for him in his Twitter handle.

Bauchi State Governor, Bala Abudkadir Mohammed, has tested positive to the Coronovirus infection. This was released in a statement signed by the Special Assistant to the Governor on Media, Mukhtar Gidado. The Governor was said to have had contact with Atiku Abubaka's son who tested positive lately.

More Celebraties in entertainment and Government who have travelled to affected countries have been ridden in fears as the order for self-isolation is revealing more numbers of Confirmed cases on the Nigerian COVID-19 incidence list.

Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State has on Tuesday ordered indefinite suspension of cluster gatherings as in Beer Parlours, weddings, Masquerade Festivals, Night Clubs and burials in Enugu State until the ravaging virus is contained. He also ordered that commercial buses and tricycles should carry fewer passengers to ensure compliance to social distancing.  In his statement, Governor Ugwuanyi directed that Enugu State Civil Servants  will hencefort work from home except health and other emergency workers.

Myinfoclock has observed that if Coronovirus is not properly handled in Nigeria, we may be heading the way of Italy. A lot of Nigerians are still ignorant of the reality of this ravaging disease. Some still doubt it's occurrence in Nigeria and assert Government intention of siphoning money through incidence claims. Our villages will be heavily at risk as people in the city may be moving down to the villages without observing the order of Self-isolation and stay at home.
