The Honourable Minister of Healthy, Osagie Ehanire, has on Wednesday in Abuja during a press conference on the update of the disease infection in Nigeria, indicated that five new cases have been confirmed in Nigeria. This is in addition to the three previous cases already recorded.
The Minister noted that all the five new cases have travel history to and fro United Kingdom.
In his statement:
"We urge Nigerians to remain calm as public health response activities are intensified across the country,” he said.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control also wrote on Twitter:
