N-power: Beneficiaries cry and response from handlers

The beneficiaries of the popular Social Intervention Program, N-power, have cried out to the Federal Government over the delay of their March Stipends at a time the less privileged in the country have been periled by hunger over the lock down and stay at order by the Government towards preventing the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The volunteers who have anticipated payment of their stipends last week are not finding it easy as their stipends have been a life saver to the numerous beneficiaries engaged by the Federal Government in Education, Health and Agricultural Sectors.

In response to their plights, the handlers of the program have encouraged the volunteers to exercise a little patience as their Stipends are being processed. They emphased their commitment in ensuring they receive their stipends on or before the end of the week.

The volunteers have also been advised to adhere to the stay-at-home order and other preventive measure to ensure they stay safe in this distressing time of COVID-19 pandemic.
