NEXIT Loan Training: Ministry plans to engage NAgro Beneficiaries

The Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development has set plans to integrate exited NAgro Beneficiaries, who had completed the NEXIT Loan Training, into the National Home Grown Feeding Programme (NHGSFP).

Kindly treat as Urgent and fill the form https://forms.gle/6eUHxk52Ag5DBm8P9, If you are an N-Agro Npower beneficiary who participated in the NEXIT Loan Training but hasn't recieved the Text Message from NHGSFP, Kindly keep your Phone line open.

The ministry intends to synergize the exited beneficiaries into the NHGSFP as the producers/Suppliers of Agricultural Produce for the Home Grown School Feeding Programme.

Part of the questions your are expected answer in the Google Form includes: Did you participate in the NEXIT Loan Training? Did you successfully create a business plan? Have you commenced any Agro-business since your NEXIT Loan Training concluded? What type of Agro-business / Agricultural Activity have you engaged in? (Crop Farming, Poultry, Vegetable Farming, Processing- Rice Milling). If others, specify.

Others include: How long has the business been running?  If you answered yes to Question 10? Have you been generating income through this business? Who are your target market/customers in the business?Are you facing any challenges in your business at the moment? What type of support is needed to grow your business? What are the goals you intend to achieve with your Agro-business?

The major aim of this article is to alert you that the Text Message is not fake and to enable you prepare ahead before answering the questions. The question are simple but strategic. You should be consistent in your answers to be selected for the purpose.

The recent action of the ministry entails that the ministry still has the NEXIT Loan in mind and NEXIT Loan Training for the remaining Batch A and B Npower beneficiaries is likely to commence in no distant time.

NEXIT (N-EXIT) popularly known as NEXIT Loan Programme is an Exit or Transition Plan which is meant to train and grant soft Loans to Npower beneficiaries after completing their duration in the Npower Programme, according to the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development.

It is organised by the Ministry in collaboration with the Central Bank of Nigeria, to offer Loan amounts between N250,000 - N3million as obtainable in the CBN Intervention Programmes such as COVID-19 Targeted Credit Facility Loan, AGSMEIS Loan, and the Nigeria Youth Investment Fund Loan Scheme.

NEXIT Loan as the name implies is starting with the exited Batch A and B beneficiaries of the Npower programme, and may progress to other Batches of the Programme.
